There is such a thing in old cemeteries, that desire us to walk, as if the souls interred there wanted to teach us to lessons they had learned . But caught up in the here and now, we can not even take the time to read the headstones.

What happened to the Wizard of Oz’s giant head, when he no longer needed it. I’ll tell you what, it had its own series of adventures. Everyone paid so much attention to that Dorothy girl, that they never noticed the head rolling off on it’s own.

A stair can be an extension of a closet. If you trust your neighbors or neighborhood you can put all kinds of things on a stair, particularly it they are wide enough. I once had a stair in an apartment that went nowhere, and was a perfect place to serve as a bookshelf.

A cold winter day. The corn reminds me of how the Iroquis planted their corn, with the three sisters, corn, beans and squash. In some areas other Indians would add fish heads to the pile to work as fertilizer for the plants.
