Somedays, after a long day

You just collapse on the steps

and ponder

should I?

should I?

squeeze through these bars

make a new life in Hawaii

or Australia

Don’t they need cowboys there?

Could I round up those kangaroos?

Hidden in the city, the winter fell and icicles  formed. The city went on not knowing that its ancient pathways were freezing over.  People were to busy in their cars, to note the change in the earth, and the change in the season.
