Attention – Yoga is cancelled for tonight

Attention – Yoga is cancelled for tonight,

so is bowling, and tai chi, and that funny game with the sticks

we are having a crisis, no an emergency

the coffee machine broke and everyone went out

to get coffee

They found a world, out there

I saw someone take off their shoes and walk in the grass

it was freaky

Some of the men and woman were going topless

they texted they were on a drug called nature

They said they may not be back until next Tuesday

so any way Yoga is definitely cancelled

apparently due to everyone discovering there is an actual

world of trees and grass and savannas

Oh but I’d stay away from the savannas

I heard there were lions,

no, sorry, just lots of small dogs who ran away

they are living in the savannas

Ok, that’s it.

I’m off to go find some coffee,

as soon as I get these shoes off

Life

There are many times I will talk to someone who will tell me that what I am talking about does not happen where they live. They will tell me that their life is easy and that their road is straight and narrow. My either spoken or unspoken answer is that, it does happen here. That if you got off that straight road, which is narrow due to the high walls that you have built or that were built for you, then you could see what is really happening, and then you could make a difference in the world. When you speed through life going 65 on that road with those walls along the shoulder, you miss so, so much. You miss life. You miss your chance to make a difference in it.

Martin Luther King’s – sermon in Selma, Alabama, on 8 March 1965

“Deep down in our non-violent creed is the conviction there are some things so dear, some things so precious, some things so eternally true, that they’re worth dying for. And if a man happens to be 36 years old, as I happen to be, some great truth stands before the door of his life — some great opportunity to stand up for that which is right. A man might be afraid his home will get bombed, or he’s afraid that he will lose his job, or he’s afraid that he will get shot, or beat down by state troopers, and he may go on and live until he’s 80. He’s just as dead at 36 as he would be at 80. The cessation of breathing in his life is merely the belated announcement of an earlier death of the spirit. He died …

A man dies when he refuses to stand up for that which is right. A man dies when he refuses to stand up for justice. A man dies when he refuses to take a stand for that which is true.

So we’re going to stand up amid horses. We’re going to stand up right here in Alabama, amid the billy-clubs. We’re going to stand up right here in Alabama amid police dogs, if they have them. We’re going to stand up amid tear gas! We’re going to stand up amid anything they can muster up, letting the world know that we are determined to be free!”

Martin Luther King’s – sermon in Selma, Alabama, on 8 March 1965, the day after “Bloody Sunday,” on which civil rights protesters were attacked and beaten by police on the Edmund Pettus Bridge:

Welcome to new Southern Female Slavery

Welcome to the return of female slavery.  A number of Southern States are unified in passing a slew of sweeping abortion bans.  Abortion is now criminalized in a number of Southern States.  Southern States are passing laws that they know are Unconstitutional.  Let me say that again, to be clear, multiple Southern States are passing laws that they know are Unconstitutional!  This is a form of mass Southern secession from the Union.   These States know that.

Many of these laws take away the right for woman to have abortions in the case of rape or incest.  This means that any man can rape a woman, any father can rape his daughter and she has now become his property.  Being another person’s property is being a slave.  She can not terminate that pregnancy and must carry that baby to term and have that man’s baby.  She then must care for that baby, unless she puts it up for adoption.

Let me say it again, being forced to have a man’s baby, against your will or consent, is the same as slavery.  Southern White men, the majority of the legislators and Governors who have voted for, or signed these laws are white Southern men, are putting back a man’s property right to a woman’s body. to any woman’s body.  That raped woman could be your daughter, your wife, your mother, your local judge, your police chief, or your governor.  They will have to carry that man’s baby to term.

While everyone talks about Trump’s bringing back white nationalism.  What they don’t talk about is his bringing back White male dominance and ownership over any female’s body.
