At the end of the day, whatever happens with Trump, the wall, the shutdown, Syria, immigration, etc.. will happen. Then at some point it will be over. However, regarding the future of the earth and of mankind, the most important decision you make today, may happen, when you look at the number of items you have consumed today that were packaged in plastic, made of plastic, and/or contained plastic microbeads, and you then say “too much”.  Not getting that plastic cup, that plastic bag, that item packaged in plastic, that shampoo made with microbeads, that tea bag made partly with plastic, may make all the difference.  You use that item for 10 seconds, maybe a few minutes, maybe a few years, and it will be around for a billion more, poisoning the environment for that entire time.
