When the math teacher came home today, his wife asked him how was his day. He answered horrible. She said why? Well it started off well, my first batch of work was all with positive numbers. About noon, they and we were tired and many of them turned into negative numbers. It got nasty. Then suddenly the irrational numbers came into the equation. While that was going on, someone stole my Pi, so I never got my lunch. Finally by the end of the day, every thing was balancing out, until we noticed that we were now computing nonlinear equations. So we had to times everything by zero, to get everything put away so we could come home. I swear it should have taken us a fraction of the time, and now we have to start again tomorrow and we are back at the square of 1, sorry square 1.
